Meet Millie, the delightful poodle whose proud owners wanted a portrait of her. This was a rug specially commissioned to celebrate and memorialise a favourite pet. Millie visited the monastery to demonstrate her size and character, and (we are told) the likeness is a very good one!
The materials used for this rug were blanket material, old knitted items, material from fabric swatches, and remnants kindly supplied by a local military tailor.
