Two Haystacks On a Hill

A bright evocation of late summer when the grain is cut and fields are covered with standing stacks. As farming methods change it is, perhaps, a sight seen less frequently, yet it still manages to convey a nostalgic impression of what seems most characteristic of the British countryside.
